Vienna Secession

The following visualization shows digital reproductions of paintings associated with the Vienna Secession. There are artworks created between 1897-1905 and later works that the algorithm has identified as Secession-influenced. All these images were arranged automatically by formal similarity with using computer vision. Each image was processed by the Inception neural network and projected onto a two-dimensional map using the UMAP algorithm and PixPlot tool.
